Some time ago I got an idea to include internal organs in my pictures from something I saw at San Francisco's new Asian Art Museum. Not, as one might suspect, from Frida Kahlo. Kahlo's paintings, which are interesting but I think Kahlo is somewhat over esteemed. Like Georgia O'Keeffe? (O'Keeffe seems to have variant spellings.) I have my biases.

As an infant, I was photographed in a dress, and quite handsomely if I may say so myself.
