Girl with a Screw in Her Head. Pencil on Bristol. 5 by 7. 2005. From a photo found in the newspaper. In the photo the girl didn't have a screw but rather a mark on her forehead that looked like one. According to the picture caption she was, "... marked for an experiment to test her ability to recognize her own image in a mirror—something most kids can do by age 2."
Why do we call children kids? I don't like "kids" and try to avoid saying it but sometimes I slip. I'm not perfect.
