Love Smitten Mermaid Reclining on a Chaise Longue. Pencil on Bristol. 7 by 5. 2005. From another drawing of my own that was inspired by an old publicity still of a movie star in slinky satin. "Sultress," I named her (my own word) but she gave me trouble and got finished only after Mermaid. She is in another gallery as "Movie Star in a Slinky Dress," so there isn't any Sultress after all.

If ever I make another version of "Smitten ..." I will try a fish hook shape instead of a circle as the point of her arrow. The circle is supposed to repeat the other three circles but maybe a hook would work as well.
