Girl Sitting on a Square. Pencil on paper. 5 ½ by 7 ½. 2008. From a picture in the newspaper of kindergarten pupils sitting on squares of carpet while being read to by their teacher. "Pupil" has gone out of fashion. Often replaced by "Kid," which expression I deplore.
